Make the most of limited floor space by transforming the couch into a bed when you are finished reading to your children before bed - one of the best habits you can introduce as a parent. Fold the couch back in the morning and they will have more space to spread out projects on the floor, build make-believe worlds with little figures, or enjoy books on the comfy sofa.
As of late, however, many parents choose these larger beds even if their children are still too small to actually need them; the reasoning is, the extra space provides more comfort regardless of the child`s size, and there is no need to worry the kids will outgrow this piece of furniture: if sturdy enough, a full over full bunk bed will see them through teenage years and beyond.
Choosing the bunk bed type with a perpendicular lower bed allows space for a desk to be placed under the upper bed as well. As an added benefit, as your child ages and grows out of the bunk bed phase, many can be separated into two separate twin beds.
Classic, simple and easy to maintain, bunk beds in natural maple are a great way to give any bedroom a naturally rustic feel to it. Additionally, the very nature of bunk beds indicate that they`ll endure rougher and tougher treatment versus conventional beds.
