Our 2nd Annual Wild Art Open is here!


Wild animals of all sorts are the subject of this juried exhibition. Accepted entries are from all over the world, as are the animals they depict.


We are excited by the range of expression here! originality is one of our judging metrics, and this group of entries did not disappoint. Mediums included a Pop It!


Congratulations to each artist whose work was accepted into Wild Heart Gallery's "2nd Annual Wild Art Open" international juried art exhibition!


It is the goal of Wild Heart Gallery to support and promote animal and wildlife artwork in a wide range of genres and styles.


Artwork for this exhibition was selected by jury based on theme, originality, skill, and quality of work. Jurors were Sarah Soward, Sharon Eisley, Torie Hilley, and Ashli Kingfisher.


Awards: Best in Show, Overall Runner Up, Artivism Award, Overall Honorable Mentions, and Special Merit Awards.

Zoom in. Enlarge this. Revel in the detail of the feathers, color, and behavior! Notice that Strom caught this incredible lilac breasted roller not in simply a basic preening posture, but with feathers in its beak. Patience, timing, and photography skill are on full display here.

From the artist, "Is there enough space for whales in our world? Will they be able to transform enough to get along with our fast fashion? A must-have toy but how long will you play with it? This toy will relieve us of stress and... whales."


36 cloissone whales, each with their own personality shine through this art piece. Each individual disc is well composed, interesting, unique, and gleaming.

All award recipients receive promotion on Wild Heart Gallery’s (WHG's) growing social media/other online media channels and WHG's eNewsletter and inclusion in a virtual group exhibition that lasts at least one month.
